Winter in New Hampshire has become a bit of mix of all seasons. Wet, sometimes mild days can quickly change to cold blasts from the polar vortex. We are learning to adapt to extremes, we dress in layers and keep our skis handy just in case. Towns have responded to changing climate by creating hazard mitigation plans, enlarging culverts and connecting wildlife corridors. Climate change has had significant impacts on wildlife.
