Communicating with the Select Board
The preferred way to provide comments to the Select Board on general topics or on specific issues is to do so in person at a Select Board meeting. That way, your comments and their response will be part of the public record. If you still want to provide a comment to the Select Board via e-mail, you may use this form.
Select Board Agenda Policy
The agendas for Select Board meetings fill fast, so please plan ahead. If you would like to be put on the agenda for an upcoming meeting, you should make your request in writing to the Select Board’s Office before noon the Wednesday prior to the meeting you wish to be scheduled for. The best method to make your request is to e-mail the Deputy Town Administrator.
You may also submit your request via U.S. Mail to P.O. Box 83, Wilton, NH 03086, and if received prior to the Wednesday deadline, it will be considered for the following Monday’s meeting. You have the option of hand delivering your request to the Select Board’s Office at the Town Hall located at 42 Main St.
Requests should include:
-
Your name and address
-
Your daytime phone number
-
The precise nature of the subject you wish to discuss
-
Supporting documents, photos, etc., that you wish to present, if applicable
It should be noted that submitting a request does not guarantee that the item will be placed on the agenda. You will receive a call or e-mail from the Select Board’s Office if you are scheduled. In the event that the agenda for the next meeting is already full, you may be offered a future meeting date.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this policy.
