Wilton’s Third Annual Halloween
Community Candy Drive to Help to Feed our Monsters
Wilton’s Library, Town Clerk’s Office, Police Department and Lyndeborough Town Office are again joining forces to support the community in collecting candy for Trick-or Treating!
2021 Trick-or-Treat will be held
6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, October 31st.
If welcoming trick-or-treaters, please turn outdoor lights on at 6:00 pm.
The neighborhood surrounding FRES is host to many Wilton trick-or-or treating children from all over town on Halloween night. Households in the area each give out hundreds of pieces of candy each Halloween. This represents a big expense for those households, so we would like to make it possible to share the load.
To donate candy:
Donations must be in the original sealed package and dropped off at Wilton’s Library, Town Hall, Police Station and at Lyndeborough Town Hall from Saturday October 9th to Friday October 22nd.
To qualify to receive candy:
Check the map to see if your household will qualify for donated candy. The streets highlighted in yellow are included. If you are an adult at an approved address, and sign up with the Library by calling 654-2581 or emailing [email protected] on or before Friday October 22nd, you qualify!
To pick up candy:
Pick-up will be available during regular Library hours between Tuesday, October 26th & Saturday, October 30th. Only registered households may pick up. Proof of residence will be required. An adult must pick up the candy, and there will be only one pick-up per household. Amounts distributed will depend on the amount donated.
