UPDATE 4/9/25
Our water system is back in order and the leaking segment has been replaced and fixed. There may be some residual issues attributable to system pressurization, but personnel will obviously monitor.
Big thanks to Public Works Director John Bukkhegyi, Water Superintendent Mike Bergeron and the Highway Department personnel for acting so quickly and efficiently, in many cases working through the night to restore service.

UPDATE 4/9/2025:
Wilton's Water Commission and Public Works Department have been notified of extensive water shut off issues throughout Wilton's downtown and believe to have
located the problem area in a western segment of the system.
Town personnel will be working to restore water to as many areas as possible as quickly as possible prior to fixing the issue, but at this time cannot give a restoration ETA.
Updates will be provided on the town social media when possible.
-------------------------------------------------------------
On or about the days Tuesday, April 8th and/or Wednesday, April 9th 2025 – weather permitting - the Town’s Highway Department will be closing Maple St between Prince St and Tremont St at 8:30 AM to address a water main leak.
Water customers affected include residents/property owners from the intersection of Maple St and Prince St. to the intersection of Maple and Russel St. This will shut down the section of Maple St so leak can be repaired.
Duration: While staff hope the issue can be concluded within several hours, a full duration can’t be predicted at this time, and users are advised to prepare accordingly.
